Throwback to Vancouver 19, the design where I first experimented with ruffles on an apron.
Ruffles are a familiar detail in fashion design, especially on dresses, but I wanted to bring that softness and movement into the culinary world.
It was an unexpected blend of form and function and still one of my favourite creative risks. It was mostly worn by homecooks.
